Title: Writing a Resume
Contributor: Sue Kraul
Materials: "Sample Chronological Resume" and "Sample Functional Resume" handouts
Procedure:

Distribute both sample resumes and discuss the differences between the two. Ask students when it would be more beneficial to use one or the other.

Using the sample resumes as a guide, have students develop their own resumes, type resumes on the computer, and exchange with another student.

Ask students to critique each other's resumes to make constructive suggestions when needed.
